but i just remembered something when i tried installing that msxmlenu.msi it kept giving me errors and then crashing right at the end of it...right before the finish screen

That's probaly what's screwin' you up. I suggest installing a new version of the Windows Installer.

Then restart your computer, and try installing the msxmlenu.msi and the other parser I provided in my last post.

Hmm, forgot you were on Vista .

Wait. This is a long shot but it may be the cause. Your ksml files may be gone or corrupt. My reccomendation would be to reinstall Halo.
