New Mod Project: Need some help XD

Hello, basically im working on a new mod, the only mods ive made so far are basically making weapons do different things, i dont have any experience for making my own maps and such so I could use some help on that. If someone could list a bunch of thing i need to construct a map I would be very greatful. I have HMT v3.5, Sparkedit 3 (I think), and Hex Workshop. Im not looking to make my own models, just ways to construct my own maps, like landscaping and taking things from other maps to use in it. Thank You, and heres a link to the mods ive done.

do you want to remake a pre-exisiting map, or completely do your own like buidlings etc
if you want to do buildings and such then you want CE or make it a CE and convert to PC

Well, I do want to have Gephryphobias level to be part of it but I might add some things. but I mostly want to make my own map mostly, I do have CE but the things I got for the HEK didnt work too well for me, I couldnt get them to either start, or work. Sapien didnt start, and Guerilla just plain old didnt work but I dont need it because i have HMT to mod my tags

well i never really go into that whole CE thing, it doesnt fit me, and takes too many payware programs to make maps so if you ever plan on doing a original HPC map then hit me up i'll help any way possible
