If he owns the game, that might be considered different, i know there was a halo CE mod with ripped H2 tags and they said not to download unless you owned H2.

man i havent modded halo trial in a while and im not even sure anymore, but i think it might work the same way u do 2 mod ce with hmt u use an hex editor 4 example 4 ce to pc ud have to find the string near the top that says 6102 and change it to 0700 and then the other 1 363039 to 353634, anyway i think it has something 2 do with the version as shown in the hex code.
