problems installing halo pc......

hey, used to be big on the whole modding halo pc/xbox thing but had an urge to see whats up with it all.........
since then i reformatted my hd and went to install it and every time it just closes out when it gets to that part where its creating new folders........
it creates the folders no matter where its told to do so, but never gets past that.........
has anyone else had this problem???
