now what i have downloaded it and it is in .rar format how do i play this mod?

or you could just help him...
extract the mod (map) on to your desktop and cut and paste it to:

My computer>C:>Program files>Microsoft games>Halo Trail>Maps

when i do that and try to go play the mod halo closes down and says exeption gathering exeption data

what do i do now

ok it's decided to change it's ways but now when i click on crate game it shuts down and says that a file is missing and it says it is the bloodgulch.map file but i thought you were went to overwrite it anyway

Alwasy back your map files up before modding or replacing them so you dont have to reinstall it.

ya ur sorta screwed now
re install ur halo trial and backup your map (maps? never played it) to somewhere convenient like the desktop. then try to download the mod and get it working. if you have problems again u just copy and paste ur backup back in your game and ull be good as new.
btw why do people still play trial...u can buy halo for $4 now seriously O.o
