Banshees only in race mode

Does anyone know if there is a tutorial for putting banshees only into the race mode of multiplayer? Can someone tell me how? In race mode you cant just enable the banshees like you could for hogs and ghosts.

try just switching the warthog model, and the way it moves to the banshee specifics. that may work, im not 100% sure though - i never liked race mode

no, just meta swap the hog vehicle tag with the banshee vehicle tag. when you swap the vehicle, it will also swap everything that goes with it then, just make the vehicle hogs, and you have banshee racing (though others will see it as a flying hog unless they have the mod as well

Thans a bunch for ur help...now I just gotta go look up how to swap the tags..Im new to modding...is it easy to meta swap the tags?

Very easy. Open up HMT. Browse to the [vehi]Vehicle tab. Select either warthog; mp_warthog or rwarthog. Click the "Swap" button at the top left of your screen, select the "banshee" meta, click save, and you're done. You've changed all your warthogs to banshees in the specific map.

Thats great!! Thanks for the help guys...I tried it out and it works, but there is one other thing...is it possible to spawn 7 vehicles instead of 4?? Since banshees only seat 1, and the server where I'm modding the map has 14 slots, I need 1 vehicle for each player...

Although warthog racing is the most popular way of doing it (teams too) you can do it with ghosts as well as tanks, lol! Try it with tanks it is surprisingly fun!
