when I go to Tools, Import Tag into Scenario, and click Scenery, theres no list of Scenery to import. Like I want to put the blood gulch log, into sidewinder.

you have to rebuild the map with the log first, then you can use that feature... all it does is import an object into the scenario file, so it can be swapped in and whatnot.

Oh ok I have to do a rebuild first. I know how to do all that. Thanks though. Btw if you dont know Map Rebuilding, there is an easy tutorial even with pictures on this website. Go to the main page and click Tutorials and look for map rebuilding.

Ok, here is EXACTLY how you get things like turrets into levels that don't normally contain them.

.) You'll need both Sparkedit 3.01 (Well, 3.0 works fine, but you do want 3.01.) and HMT.
.) We'll use BG as an example here.
.) Make a new folder somewhere, like in your Halo directory. Call it "BGmeta" or something to that effect.
.) Batch extract all of the files (I'm not sure if you'd really need all of them, but just do it to be sure) from Blood Gulch in HMT into your BGmeta folder.
.) Once that is done, open up a Multiplayer level that has the gun turrets. We'll use Gephyrophobia, as 1, it's a cool level, and 2, it has an even cooler name.
.) Once Gephyrophobia is open in HMT, go down to Vehicles, and select the Gun Turrets listing. Recursively save all the meta in it into another folder. Name that folder something like "Gun Turret Meta," or something that you won't (stupidly) forget.
.) Close HMT, and go into the folder you just saved the meta in, and select all of the folders/files there, and copy them.
.) Go into the folder where you batch extracted BG to, and paste all the copied folders/files there. If it asks if you want to overwrite it, or anything like that, say yes to all.
.) Now, go to your Halo maps directory, and copy Bloodgulch.map.
.) Go back to the BG meta folder, and paste the copy there.
.) Open HMT back up, and in the Tools drop down menu, select "Rebuild Map."
.) Click Browse next to the Original Map part, and navigate to the Bloodgulch.map file that you copied to the BG meta folder.
.) When it asks if you want to automatically fill in all the file paths, select yes.
.) Now, under additional files, select Add.
.) You should see a number of folders. Click on "Vehicles."
.) Click on c gun turret.
.) Double click on "c gun turret_mp.vehi." This will close that window, and add "c gun turret_mp.vehi" to the list you saw directly under "Additional Files."
.) By doing this, HMT is told to then add that tag (The main tag for the gun turret vehicle) and all dependencies of that tag (Like it's bitmaps, weapons, sounds, etc.).
.) Click on Rebuild map.
.) After that, go to your BG Meta folder, and copy bloodgulch.map.rebuild.map to your Halo maps folder. Delete the original bloodgulch.map file (AFTER YOU MAKE A BACKUP!!!), and rename bloodgulch.map.rebuild.map to bloodgulch.map.
.) Open up Sparkedit.
.) Open your new bloodgulch.map file from your Halo maps directory.
.) Before doing anything else, go to Tools > Import Tag into Scenario
.) In the Object Tag Type list, make sure Vehicle is selected.
.) In the Unregistered Tags menu, select c gun turret_mp (It may not have mp on the end.).
.) Click ok.
.) Now, go duplicate any vehicle in the map, and then deselect it (Or unselect it.).
.) Go select it again, and go under the edit menu to Swap:.
.) In the drop down menu, go to c gun turret_mp.
.) Go to File > Save Changes, and Voila! You now have a Covenent Gun Turret in Bloodgulch!

:D :D :D

Yea, I was tired of people asking about this kind of stuff... lol... Hope this helps, guys! Thats how to get Gun Turrets in BG in 30 steps!

Correction, smart one. You are in a way right, as every map file does have the 5 MP vehicles meta data in it. However, it won't show up in the drop down list in Sparkedit. You need to rebuild the map with the vehicle from a map that has the vehicle in it that actually is on the map normally. Nice try making me look stupid though. :)
