What did you do when you....

Hey, im new herer as you can see and i have been trying to figure this whole site out. not saying i dont know what its for i mean like, when you very first started what did you do? you had to have found out somehow to run mods and and stuff like that. im talkin all i have is ppf and winrar and i dont know how to use any of them. what im asking is... what programs do i need to download. where do i get them and how do i work them. then how to get the mods up and running into halo pc for rea. i would greatfully appreciate it. thanx

wait, do you want to mod, or install mods? if you want to make mods, get HMT v3.5 or HEK.. there are more, so look at files.halomods.com, but i cant get into it for some reason, i think its down. if you want to install mods, youll need ppf-o-matic.

i dont want to find out how to download mods just how to get them onto pff o matic and get them up and running. how do i

get hhht or if its a simple mod , replace the modded map with the one you have already, with hhht open it find your halo dersctory find the map to patch(replace) then find your mod that you just got, click on it then then presto. i know this probly wont help much cuz i suck at explaining things in dedail but its easy trust me on that. if you need help pm some one here or me ill walk you through it

hey, calm down, man... i probably logged off or went to a different forum... so impatient. k, start ppf-o-matic, and in the ISO File thing, select what map you want to mod. that folder should be inside your halo directory under "maps" then select which map is to be modded. make sure its the right map and right game (trial, pc, mac, CE) then under the Patch thing, drag in the .ppf file that is the mod into it. then hit apply, and then ok. there, your mod should work! just load halo and select the map which you modded. and next time, be more patient on forums, people arent always on and can log off too
