More cliff skins to a lighter color. Reddish orange=Desert cliff IMO.

that's not the point, i mean with this change in mind, would you say it is still a desert environment? a woodland environment? or kind of a cross between both?

gonna put vehicle camo on each map but it's gonna be different camo for different maps so i need help figuring out what camouflage to put on the human vehicles for blood gulch

The original blood gulch is a desert environment
The one you showed us is an over spark-edited environment.
If you want to change it to something more natural then I suggest skinning the cliffs and ground

I think blood gulch was meant to have the same basic layout as Beaver Creek.

so, assuming i've reskinned the cliffs to more match the trees and such...woodland? or desert?

It depends how you skin the cliffs. Skin them to be lighter, and it's a forest, more warm colors, and it's a desert.

Warm Colors=Desert
Cool//Nuetral Colors=Forest.

Make the cliffs look like the infinity cliffs. Try injecting that one. Also, skin the ground to be all grass, then you got a woodland, which IMO, is better than desert.

Obviously that would be up to you.

Here's an example of a "Forest" Bloodgulch.

http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=58421

Bloodgulch has the capability to be Forest/Desert. Even a snow version if you add the forest feel to it. IE...No dead brown trees.
