Copyright?

Ok i was making a music vid using Halo for my film class and my cockbite teacher Mr. Loverde said after all that work on the vid has copyright stuff. Well i know hes a hypocrite because he gave me a cd to use with music too use that is copyright but i can't change that. So i wanted to know if its really matters or is Mr. Loverde is a f***ing sh*t ass munkie fu*ker
