Patch update problems...

Hello, I'm basically a newbie to halo (but not to modding). I finally got halo for the pc and I installed it and updated it. However, it says I have an invalid cd and I don't know what to do. Is there any way to get around this? Any help is appreciated.

try reinstalling.

I did that, and it still did the same thing, any other suggestions?

Well, do you have an invalid CD?

I did, I herd halo will install if you just type in a bunch of numbers and letters- it worked until I got the patch.
