A mod, trainer, glitch, etc.?

one time i was playing a game, and for some reason a turret on a machine gun hog was moving around like someone was in it looking at everybody, it would shoot for like half a second then stop and look around again. it wasnt a person in active camo because i could get on the gunner seat and control it fine. does anybody know if this is some mod, a trainer, a glitch or something else?

I had a simular glitch before actually, a person would spawn, be invisible and get in the gunner position of the warhog. But really, that wasn't a person! That person was somewhere else, and when that person turned, the player gunning the hog would turn, and when he would fire, the hog would fire! Weird huh?
