Was going to do poll but couldnt get it to work.

if it was CG animated like the FF movie, and had same actors, story writers, and combined the books in as well, the yes!

I just can't see it being a CG animated film, if James Cammron did it right with the guidance of Bungie, it would be a great film.

I don't know about James Cameron; but a Halo movie, following the first book, maybe a sequal running through the first game, and a final film running through the details of First Strike and Halo 2 would make a GREAT movie trilogy.

As long as a good special effects company did it. And it explained the storyline in a complex, yet simple way, it'd be a science-fiction box-office killer, even appealing to people who have never played the game(s).

Plus, they could capitalize on it, and sell replicas of the guns and whatnot.

Hummer could even make the Warthogs. :D

If they made a movie than it would be real not animated. I think Tommy Lee jones should play Captain Keyes. Also they would have make real versions of halo vehicles and weapons.

Cortona could be computer genertated.

The person who voiced Cortana in the game should voice her also in the movie.

yeah i think it would be cool. my freinds are all like it would suck and junk(i thought of this before) but i think it would be cool. if the flood where in there it would be a horror movie.

william shatner should do captain keyes, that would be funny.

The movie would be great or bad depending on who directs it. The first Halo movie would have to based on the Halo game and the first 2 books(The Fall of Reach & The Flood). I think Steven Spielberg should direct.

I would LOVE a halo movie

As much as we would love a Halo film, it would be Imposible to do on the level, scale and detail: doing halo films would have to change the way movie making is done FOREVER.

First off you just can't do it in 3 movies, you would need 5 movies to tell the whole story, without screwing it up. Plus looking at movies today which are just total flops Halo would need the best, which is why I said James Cammron, becuase he is the one man he is the god of all movie makers, he changed the way we make movies. And lets face it ALL of his movies are masterpeaces non of them have EVER floped or sucked.

Holy crap, you dumbass. first of all, I wouldn't be too proud of making True Lies 2 and Pirhana 2: the spawning. Frankly, I would be embarassed to say that i had any connection with them. Secondly, True Lies and The Abyss sucked. I don't care what the box office says, they sucked. Thirdly, you're saying Steven Spielberg would ruin a Halo movie by letting a moron direct the sequel? How does that work? And for that matter, James Cameron handed off Aliens to equally stupid people. Fourthly, the title of the topic is "Halo Movie?". Please show me where it says "what if they made a halo movie?". Fifthly(is that a word?), if Steven Spielberg is such a moron, then how did he make Indiana Jones, Schindler's List, E.T., Saving Pvt. Ryan, JAWS, Jurassic Park(1st only), and minority report? And sixthly(again, is that a word?), I just thought of someone who would make an even better action movie. John Woo. James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, and Francis Ford Coppala can all make great movies, but making an action movie takes alot more than "vision". Hell, John Woo brought double-handed shooting to movies.
