HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Well as usual i where playing Halo.. Then as usual i have 250< ping. (becuzz of my 56k)
then this guy told me that he had this friend, that also had 56k,but he had around 160 ping!? why is that? he said it has something with the connection settings 2 do. is this true? is it a lie? plz reply it can possible help many. thx anyway.

he just has a better connection is all, maybe closer to the server, theres about a thousand things that could change that, u might have too many processes going sending info in and out of the net, who knows.

k.. but is there any poissible way, thats not the thing? that it has something with the connection settings(or something else)?
