Halo PC Multiplayer

Lately I've been noticing, while playing halo pc, there are so many people that use bots. Now, they don't work very well because of lag issues but sometimes you will notice crappy players get magical three shot kills several times in a row and then suddenly they can't hit anything, they can't throw nades and their strategy sucks. This is when you start to become suspicious. You can tell a botter because they will turn around when you get in a vehicle (I have seen this in a real match) and they will have extreme difficulty hitting you when you duck. Almost everytime I play Halo PC I notice these quirks in players. Most people are uneducated and think that botters hit you EVERY SINGLE TIME EASILY but in fact, they only get consistant headshots when the lag is down to a minimum so most players do not realize how many people will actually attempt to win with bots. I never really noticed this up until a few months ago, but it's very anoyying because this means you have to crouch and walk like a ret_ard for half the game just to dodge someone's stupid bot.

This kind of stuff happens in any game that doesn't have any sort of "autoban" feature or protection against exploits, scripts, and 3rd party programs. There is also nothing to lose from getting found cheating in Halo PC. It isn't like H2's matchmaking, there's nothing to gain or lose from playing HPC multiplayer, so people will not worry about consiquences and use their hacks, exploits, and bots.

My advice: Deal with it, or bot back.

The latter is not good advice. Doing the same in return isn't helping the problem.

I actually had a bot, and it was supposed to be a good one but I found that I could easily do better by using my own skill. It's just for noobs who want to be pro and don't want to put in the effort.
