Link above goes to FAQs at Bungie.net, and they say that the MC gets new armor. Near the bottom, I think.

Yeh, but according to the story he does not, but they had to remake everything....so I guess they added things...

They prbly just made it look different because it was the second game. They do that with everything.

No way, the Covenant are way to strong to keep the MC's crappy Mark 4 armor. He'll get Mark 5 (like the other Spartans)..........

Woah "destructible environments"... I wonder if that means like the Geo-Mod in Red Faction!!! I would die if they had something similar to that....
I remember, I would play Red Faction, instead of using a door, I would plants bombs on the walls to go around the door...

No way, the Covenant are way to strong to keep the MC's crappy Mark 4 armor. He'll get Mark 5 (like the other Spartans)..........
All Spartans wore a Mjolnir Mark V at the end of Fall Of Reach the Mark IV armor was the basic Prototype so to speek Therefor as we already know the armor all Spartans except Kelly has in Halo 2 is a Mark VI Armor much lighter stronger and sweet as hell looking.

No It Doesn't. Do you really think that their graphics engine was too poor to make the suit they designed and it took this new one to show all of it? No, whatever the suit looks like in this is what it was intended to look like.

In the original multiplayer presentation, Joseph clearly calls it " MJOLNIR Mark VI ".
It's new, and officially know now. They get upgrades in First Strike.

No your wrong there, the Mark 6 armor is much lighter which alows a spartan to run faster douge faster; also it has a stronger sheild system, new and better up to date UNSC standerds Hud. Other Info about the Mark 6 to this point is unknown.
If your talking about how the armor Looks ? it's still very different then the Mark 5 armor chief wore in Halo
They get upgrades in First Strike.
Yes but please remember, that it was only small upgrades. They don't get the full Mark 6 armor untill Halo 2...as everyone SHOULD know.
