Something just occured to me...*SPOILERS*

Ok if I am wrong shoot me but the people who write the Halo books get there info from Bungie and the other dudes that work on halo? Then if I am correct then in First Strike the book wont there be more then one Spartan in Halo 2? God I hope so

Yeah, I would love to be fighting beside MC's fellow Spartans in Halo 2, it would kickass but I was wondering the same thing about the authors getting information from Bungie.

I read the books, Im on First Strike.
Most of em get killed by covenant, then doesnt the covenant "glass" the planet?

No,and yes,they only glassed parts of the planet cas they were looking for the HOLY LIGHT,and the seviving spartans went to go get it befor the covidint did,then the Master Cheif came to rescu them,but thruo out the rest of the book some of them die,so at the end of it,yes there were spatans sill alve.

no the holy light is toast... and im reading the First strike again and that has nothing to do with Halo 2 armor wise... how do we know that it isnt knew armor huh? cmon

um...when did i say that the holy light had anything to do with armor? and look at the end of the book, a covenant crew captures a fragment of the holy light and gives it to a prophet

just because you don't see them in the trailers, that doesn't mean that they're not there other times
Maybe bungie is holding out so it will be a suprise for most ppl
