Adding Maps To HaloPC?

Post by Meatwad14 »

Okay, my friend asked me a stupid question and said:
Can you add a map to HaloPC?
I said:
They have a program called HaloCE, dude.
He said:
Yeah, I know, but can you?
Well I said that HaloCE is only the program CONFIGURED and stuff.

He still didn't understand, so can someone tell me what the heck to tell him?

Thanks,
Meatwad

Actually, Halo CE isn't a program, it is just an addon to the original Halo. It gives users the ability to play custom made maps, plus there is a few updates. Oh yeah, btw, it doesn't have campaign.

Tell him that in the only way to add maps is in multiplayer with Custom Edition. If he asks what Custom Edition is, tell him it's an expansion pack for Halo PC that allows for custom content and maps.

Say:

"If you want your own maps, you need to download another version of Halo called CUSTOM EDITION. It's just like regular Halo except it lets you run multiplayer maps and THERES NO SINGLE PLAYER. If you want to make maps, you download something else called HALO EDITING KIT and you use that to make your maps."

If that doesnt work, add some threats, some insults, some more adjectives in certain places and repeat it until he understands. :P

Wow dude, nice bump. Not a good idea. Try not to do it again. If you don't know what a bump is, it's when you bring a really old topic back to new.

Next time, check the date right above the post.
