2 q's about halo pc

1. For some odd reason, my game keeps freezing. I can play the campagin no problem, but when I go to MP, my comp freezes every time it starts loading the map of the server Im trying to join. I reinstalled and it had no effect. Wtf?
2. In the video options, why do I not have the option to turn on specular and shadows? They are greyed out. It is cause Halo has decided my video card isnt good enough?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think thats the reasons for both of your problems (answer #2), whats your computer specs? like what videocard processor ram hdd do you have?

my comp is:
athlon 3000+ xp 2.8 gigahertz processor
512 mb ram
160 gig hard drive
nvidia geforce mx graphics card
it ran both sp and mp halo fine until recently and it runs CE almost perfectly

updaate ur drivers and update ur halo game. go to bungie.net

Ok I updated the drivers and nothing changed. Also Im using Halo PC v1.06 which Im fairly certain is the latest version. And my comp runs single player and CE with no problems. the only problem is with MP.
