Anyways....
Yeah I noticed that Halo has a lot of Aliens inspiration and references. Marine's attitudes and lines along with some equiptment. However I think some people look too deeply into the corralations between the plots of Halo and Aliens.

i dont wanna sound like some "lord o' the rings" nerd, but gandalf's sword, translated from elvish is "foe hammer". and yesterday, aliens was on the space channel at like 1:00 AM and those ships DO look like pelicans! W00t! Go to HBO and check it out. they have an archive the size of "the library" about halo references.

1, that is awesome, and 2, halo is totally influenced by aliens. It is really obvious, but i still notice it every time when i watch the E3 8 minute video, the first part is exactly like the scene in aliens with the dropship coming thru the atmo.dioxideC wrote:i dont wanna sound like some "lord o' the rings" nerd, but gandalf's sword, translated from elvish is "foe hammer". and yesterday, aliens was on the space channel at like 1:00 AM and those ships DO look like pelicans!
