Need Pelican Help

I can get the pelican into most sp maps, yet when i go to drive it, it puts MC into one of the seats, and gives me a crappy view and i cant turn left, is there anyway i can fix this so that MC sits in front and can i can see a whole lot better?

there is a seat in the front of the pelican
you have to find it and rename the seat to something the mc can drive

YEa and how do i do that? i replaced the Warthog in the map Silent Cart. but i still cant get into the front. i can only drive with the 2 back seats, and yes i did make seat 0 be able to drive as well as 1,2, etc.

I don't know if you tried this, but you might have to jump on the Peli, and walk to the top of the cockpit to drive it.
