HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

ive seen quite a few mods for xbox in rar zip and ppf file but i dont undestand how you apply it to the box if you downloaded it off the internet on your pc. how do ppl get it on the box?

ftp to your box, then find the halo cache files.(usually on the X,Y, or Z) copy the cache you want to replace onto your comp. use ppf-o-matic to patch that file with the ppf that you downloaded. then send it back to your box and overwrite the cache file on the box and play it.

Or another way that is very comonly used by many is to download Halo Cache Editor. A program that lets u apply any ppf file to any cache file while al on your box. No ftp, no searching for the cache. Just use HCE.

ya i guess you could use that way too.(that is how i started doing it)

HCE is a very easy tool to use and cuts the time down from switching from your comp to your xbox. Get it and use it. Peace
