I think it should start some where with the models of master chief
and the controll lay out.......
(instead of switching weapon'scan you edit and add to it)

Oh, smart one, would you care to enlighten us on why it can't be done?

I know it wouldn't be easy...

because there is no code available to modify,because the only way to add code isa with hek, which us xboxers dont have, even with hek, i dont think you could do it.

i heard it was possable (for pc)
it was done (supposivley) by the halo 2 project for pc

I actually know how you could do it but i would need some time.

OK... so it's not really perfect, but it's the next best thing.
You make a model look like 2 guns.
You give the weapon secondary fire (J5892 knows how to do this)
I make the projectiles shoot at different spots (right trigger shoots right weap, left shoots left)
I make it so MC holds his hands in 2 different spots.
It's not perfect but it'll do, i would just need the model.

i have heard of that before, i thought you were gonna say something like you have to find the gun holding stuff and find out the relation to the left hand and then create a new handle for holding a gun in the left hand.

well why dont you do it and show us impossible, woops possible it is.

But in Halo 2 you can pick up two different types of guns. With this mod, it sounds like you can only have a double model of the one gun that you are holding. Which means, it's like your not even picking up two guns at all, your just picking up one gun that looks like two. That's lame, now if you can get it so you can pick each gun up, one at a time, one hand at a time, then that would be something I would like to see.

thats because its halo2 and its had professional game makers create the ability to do that...

yo in halo 2, the dual weilding thing, say in the show he picked up the smg after the needler... would he then hold the needler in his right hand?

just thought of it as you guys were futily trying to create dual weilding for HALO 1

With this duel wielding for Halo 1, could you pick up each weapon seperatley, or would each gun model have to be duel weilded and you couldn't just one of that weapon in your hand.

What I'm trying to say is, would you have to make it permanentley duel wielded.

Would it be possible to:

-give MC the flood's (big guy) antr, (eg: shotgun in one hand)
-create a new antr for the grenade throw to mimic the right hand<--is this possible?
-grenade model and etc change to the weapon of choice
-play w/ the effects for both sides

that was a good though convert, but it would not work, and as for the other question, yes it would be permanent duel wield, no picking up one and then the other.
