OK when i open cache003.map, its not blood gulch, its battle creek, and on my friends its blood gulch! i tried starting up a game on blood gulch then retrying, but no luck! please help me, i can only find the bloodgulch.map file which is obvioulsly not what i need to patch!

Try clearing your cache files and THEN loading BG

how? (feel free to laugh) i just dont want to delete stuff i shouldnt, this is my first time messing with the cache files

i deleted, and started blood gulch, retried, and its still that dam battle creek!

Ok, clear cache003,004,005. After that, load up BG and exit. BG should be cache 003, if not, check 004 and 005. 000, 001 are singleplayer maps, and 002 is the UI map.

o yea and if you accidentally hit A after picking names, the default selection is BC and the map will become cache003

so dont hit A to fast if you want BG to be cache003

Or get HCE and it tells u which cache file is which map.

after clearing it twice, i finally got the it to appear in cache003, odd but working now thanks guys!
