hmm, surely after it being out for (2 years?) someone would have figured out how to use the easiest data-entry point on the thing...

I completely agree with you. For the past month or so I've stopped checking up on xbox360 hack advancements only because they are very minimal. I know this won't work specifically because I tried to use my usb flash drive to transfer some music to my xbox and it wouldn't read it.

Grenadiac and Iron_Forge are the two primary administrators. Grenadiac started the site.

Ahh, I see. Didn't think it could have more than one administrator.

If you are asking if it's possible to mod the Halo 1 purchased through Xbox Originals. I'm pretty sure as of now it's impossible. The files are signed differently (I think).

If you are talking regular disc. I'm pretty sure it's still impossible. In order to use mods, you had to launch a modded launch file. Witch is impossible to access, one back on the dashboard.

But welcome back. :)

Which is true but have you ever seen a direct port that wasn't in some kind of different format. Such as H1 xbox to H1 PC. They are the same game and it was ported but it is in a different format to run on the PC. I'm guessing it's along the same lines with the 360. That or they put some kind of lock on the .xbe..if they even used the "default.xbe" for this. I was guessing .xex like all other 360 games.. I dunno, I don't have a xsata or anything to test.

well, actually i was wondering about modding 2 and 3 in such a manner as well, it just seemed most appropriate to post in the original Halo modding forum.
