i think that you could use fraps: dont take this as a stupid answer, cause here is my excuse:
if your vid card and tv use s-video or whatever the thing is, just hook it up, i think that not only lets you view your pc on tv, but your tv on pc, but of course, i dont have an xbox, or a good tv...or you could just:
buy a video camera, and point it at the tv while you play!

This is all I could think of that can display xbox on your computer monitor. It may also be your only option without getting a new video card w/video input.

Sorry...didn't finish. If you get that product you would then use
Fraps to record the image on your screen.

Get a digital video camera that can hook up to your TV and record, then trandfer it to your comp.
Hmm someone had edited my post......
Dont see why, but I had said that he probably wasnt talking about recording from his computer and that he wanted to record from the TV...
weird...

get a tv tuner for your computer, and hook your xbox up to it, then play on your computer, while running fraps
very simple

Thats what I'm going to do, but for a different reason. My TV in my room is 13", but my monitor is 19". So i'm going to play games and watch tv on it instead...

no they dont hook a up a fuckin digital camera or video camera
u record the gameplay on a tape and take the vcr video a.v. cord(yellow) and plug it into ur video card (if its the right kind) and then if u did like i did and u have aver media click source wen it says compostite hit play on ur vcr and ull see it on computer and start recording it to ur computer. then u open it in an editor and make a video(this is wat my computer is like i dont kno how yall else do it)
the programs u need are aver media and the video card with an a.v. video onput

OR, you can connect your xbox to a video camera, play it off the lcd screen, then record it, then connect your video camera to the computer and edit it!

hey, im fairly new to this but i was wondering if anyone knows of a way to change the death sentence on multiplayer, instead of it saying you were killed by such and such maybe it could be changed into something else, like you got slipped a mickey by such and such, haha i know bad example but you see my point. any response would be helpful.

you edit the default.xbe file with a hex editor
search for a unicode string of "killed" or "betrayed"
that should work but dont hold me to it

You could just burn the modded copy of Halo to a DVD or CD if you delete all the single player maps and some of the movies, forget which ones.

You can still put halo on ur harddrive. It only takes about 3 gigs(and even on an 8 gig HD, where the E partition is about 5 gigs, you'll still have around 2 gigs left). Just copy everything cept the xdemos dir.
