Do i need any thing specific?

I was wondering that if i wanted to get a mod for my xbox from the PC. Do i need to buy any kinds of cables or any thing?

but u cant use xbox system link, that dosnt work which is rather shabby

So you will need the crossover cable and a modchip or you can do a softmod. I use a softmod. It works fine if you do it right.

you also need a ftp client, flashfx is my favorite and theres lots of tutorials out for it and the xbox(its got a free 30 day trial timer, but it bases itself off your computer clock, so if your trial is up, set your clock back and you can use it again, good stuff)
you dont have to have a crossover cable if your using a router( its a bitch to setup)

you can get filezilla, it dosnt have an expiration date at all
