Is there a way to get files to your xbox without connecting it to your computer? I've been trying for ages to get my trained halo Default.xbe to the xbox via CDRW, but it always sais "not a valid xbe". Samewith halo cache editor that i want on there too, "not a valid xbe". Is there a certain process to burn them onto CD or am i just downloading them wrong or is there another way to get files to the xbox? PLEASE HELP MEEEEEE!

well dude all you have to do is put halo on your hd on your xbox. cause you can't run it from a cd and change the .xbe. Try putting halo on your xbox and replace the .xbe with the trained one. Another problem could be that the trainer need to patch more then just the .xbe. But all i did was transfer halo to my pc and reburn using the extract & rebuild method.

well maybe we can help exaclty why cant you ftp? error ? ip? what? or you could try to put the defualt xbe into a game save like 007 or mech and copy it to the hd then use boxplorer on a disc to move the file from the save into a folder..but thats complicated..........

sorry for the double post but.
scrap my last post.
i had this trouble before and i fixed it by going into:
control panel
netowork conections
and there should be a LAN icon, go into that
and then there will be a lil box there saying what conections are allowed
tick: internet protocol (TCP/IP)
then click ok
if all this is already done then im nutted for ideas but if not i hope this helps

i agree this sounds like a worng setting for you lan connection.
psot your setting for your comp and xbox,
there is a way to put any apps you want on the HDD by cd but it is slightly more complicated and requires Nero. ill try and find the link and post it here if we cant get your net setting fixed
p.s. just so you know xbox and pc shouldnt have the same ip,slighty different is the key
