HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

This site sucks i ask a qustion about modding for Halo 2 and i get a reply that says "We dont support cheating" thats gay. most mods are cheating....wait this is HALO MODS right???? Making a warthog fly thats not cheating? OK!!!! Youll allow that but not my simple question of why it affects the other xbox when im using modded maps??????????

I haven't seen your original post, but I'd guess it sounded like you were going to use the information for malicious purposes (i.e. using it to minipulate the game as to gain an upper hand on another human player). We do do a lot of things that might be thought of as cheating, but we do it in a way where if used it doesn't effect other human players or gives them the same ability, weapon, ect. Also to answer your question it lets them use the mod because as host they use your map, but their own of everything else and so since you modded only the map, and not other seperate files it's as if they had your map.
