Got some Questions

Well I'm fairly new to modding stuff for the xbox, I was modding Halo 2 and it wasn't all that great. So I figured I would try messing with Halo and see what fun stuff I could do with it, not in a bad way of course. So heres some questions I have for Halo 1.
1. Like IN Halo 2 , do you have to resign the maps?
2. Is this like Modding Halo pc ,if so thats great.
3. Do I have to the things like in Halo 2 to let people see my projectiles of the weapons?
