HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hi, I'm sorta new to halo modding, but I'm doing ok so far...

I just wondered, is there a way to decompress the halo map files so you can edit the single player missions, and if so what software do I need...

just load em on ur xbox (cache000.map) or u can open it up in hht and itll ask u to decompress it

open them in SE under the comressed map option. It will place the decompressed map on your desktop called "cache.tmp" or something like that, look for a .tmp file.
