questions about patching a map

Post by Osanya »

I'm brand spankin' new to all this, so be gentle.

I'm just wondering what would happen if you patched your ppf to the actual map stored in your games folder. Not the cache file, but the actual map.

I'm just trying to figure out if there is a way to play these mods without ftping, patching, and ftping between each game.

Thanks

what about the "bloodgulch.map" or "sidewinder.map" files in the Halo folder on the F drive? aren't those the same maps? That way, if the cache gets cleared, then you don't have to re-patch and re-ftp.

Wow you're smart....... And yeah, most likely, your actual maps would be in the C:/ or F:/ depending on which one you use... I use C:/ but my friend uses F:/
I don't understand your idea of humor... But it sickens me <_<
