ntsc xbox meta injection

Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong here......for example, let's say I wanted to move the scenery/barricade/large_gap from boarding action and put it in BG.
1.select a tag such as scen/boulder/large_grey which is larger than what I plan to inject.
2.Inject meta barricade[scen] over this item and rename scenery/barricade.
3.Inject meta for barricade[coll] and barricade[mode] similarly.
4.Select the modded bolder (scenery/barricade) and use the right panel (in HHT) to swap the dependancies from the old boulder entries to the new barricade ones (the [coll] and [mode] ones).
5.Every meta change hit save.
So.....anyone know what I am doing wrong? I'm still a bit new to this meta thing.
