Cartographer is a great tool

I think it's alright to post a link? If not I will remove this,but! Cartographer is a great tool for the people that find HMTv3 a little hard. I have used this to put flyers or hogs ,or other mods in all MP maps. It can add Banshees and many Hogs and change LOTS of things in SP maps. You MUST start SP with a profile that does not have a game started! MP does not have this need. Some other things like change MC to a grunt or Elite, with some drawbacks, might want to have the Halo trainer on for some things like this. It can upload and download maps to more than one xbox through a hub directly and much more. You WILL need the EFFECTS package too! READ THE INFO ON THE SITE!

Yes, it is indeed pretty great, although you can only do stuff like swapping objects and adding effects (like flying MC). If any reader has the .NET framework, DOWNLOAD NOW! Sure, you don't have to be a newbie. It makes swapping objects very quick, and is far faster than HMT3 or Hex editing.

thats pretty cool but man anyone can mod with hmt, it takes 30 seconds to figure out anything, obviously if u wanted to shoot some tank shells then its gonna be under projectiles taht u change, etc.

YEP! guys you are right ! HMT is way better, BUT when im setting there on game night with a lot of friends ( we get 4 to 5 Xboxes and tv's hooked up,on a lan) it is quick and easy to use. Flying MC is not what we use it for,more like enough flyers for everybody!!! (change things in a second and then load and play) I also find that many people are not as good with the computer as we, or you guys are,it does seem simple to you, and Cartographer is for the average gamer that knows nothing about computers, It should work on almost any old computer with a net card too. I am 42 and when I was your age I had a TRS 80 and a Commadore 128

,not quite that old. I see people ask the same question all the time, how do I use HMT, or how to get flyers in MP maps, this is for the newbies or unskilled ,or just a lot of casual gamers. Last I don't think this needs the .NET framework. Spartan III thanks for the positive comments. HALO game night RULES!

30 seconds? It doesn't take a quarter of that to change things with Cartographer! As for XboxTech. 42? That's a pretty cool age for a Halo Hacker.

You guys are so FUNNY, you must be city folk, don't know the difference between apples and oranges

. I have both and if you want an app to go on the Xbox than you would use HCE,it might be faster ,FOR ONE BOX. But the cartagrapher will do a lot more if you want, but you do need the EFFECTS package, and on lan night it is better, you can do the work on your computer in seconds. They CANNOT do the same thing.

It's your loss though.

when i got cartographer it couldn't find my xbox then when it did it crashed

in my eyes, cartographer sucks

Well you are just fustrated. I use it all the time and have no problems. You need to configure your IP info right and it WILL work for you ,with no problems. And im not hear to argue, as I said it will be your loss, if you don't try it. Also if you did not get it to work, then you do not know what it could do for you. I would try it again, and you might find its ease of use, and the fun you could have

I like to have fun hear so, I have not had any problems with Cartagrapher it works fine. I ALSO have a newer version of HCE and it is very nice, Quite better than the version I had been using. Thanks for a clue in another post, I will be having even more FUN.
