You can fly the pelican in halo 1 with some work. Its not only Halo 2 you know.

Well can you PMI it on xbox like the pc version or is that not possible on xbox

Flying the pelican is quite easy, just change the seat name to W-Driver... and recursive inject it into the map of your choice if it's not already there...
