..and searched off and on for three months now to find a ppf or tutorial on how to remove the HUD. I've explored all the multiplayer maps trying to find HUD textures I could edit, though anything I find, photoshop won't open, and yes, I have the .dds plug in, and yes I installed it and the required .dll's correctly. Everytime I search for info on it on this forum, other forums, or the internet in general, all I get is poor guys asking how to remove it, and getting told to search for it. Well frankly, from what I've seen, searching doesn't help with this problem. So could someone, PLEASE, either tell me how to remove the hud in halo, or provide a ppf for an map other than Blood Gulch for me to break down and figure things out? I am in dire need for a way to remove the HUD, because I have major semester project coming up in March about computer animation, and I'm using machinima as my subject. It's too late to turn around, because I've already submitted and had a proposal accepted. So either it's remove the HUD to make a clean, acceptable video, or I'm screwed. So someone, please god, give me a clue on how to remove the HUD on NTSC XBox maps?

well there is one mod that will completely remove the HUD unfortunately it requires you to have Halo on your HD with the use of a modchip and you have to have the trainer the other thing is it will ONLY work in split screen beecause you have to bump the camera man (hes invisible and flies) with bump character on and Bump Character doesnt work over LAN or XBC w/e you want to call it i've tried everything to get it to work but it doesnt so you could make a split screen movie with someone doing something and someone filming but you would have to cut off half of the screen and the cameraman patch is in Dmauro's turret pack

Yeah, I've played around with Dmauro's mod, but I've been having trouble contacting him about the Hud removal alone.

Half a screen definitely isn't a good thing for this either.
