what is a command prompt ftp or ftp program can you tell me where i can download one at

16 views not one reply, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves. I'll help you out. and ftp program is a program that opens up a gateway from one hard drive to another. and because theres no Windows XP for xbox, this is how you edit stuff on the hdd. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, some good ones are FlashFXP (
www.flashfxp.com) or you could just do it through internet explorer by typing in ftp://192.168.0.*/xbox:xbox or something like that.

Get FlashFXP or FileZilla.
It'd be better to get FlashFXP because there are tutorials on how to connect over at

SmartFTP download smart FTp

If i were to use anything it would be flashFXP but i just use Internet explorer, you actually type ftp://xbox:xbox@(xbox's ip adress), and u need to change ur network connections in control panel to ur xbox's ip adress and subnet mask (usually 255.255.255.0) but the last number of the ip adress in control panle needs to be either on number higher or lower.
