HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok, I don't own Halo, and I don't own and Xbox, but I have a friend who owns both.

Hes put in a lot of crazy mods like turrents and counter-strike weapons, camo skins, extra speed, higher jumping, new flags, ect.

Two problems though: Everyone still uses the pistol 24/7, and the assault rifle is still so inaccurate that nobody ever uses it.

Heres what I want to do:
-Change the pistol's accuracy to that of a shotgun pellet.
-Change the pistol's aimer to a shotgun aimer.
-Tighten up the assault rifle's accuracy to 1/3 its' current radius.
-Change the assault rifle's aimer to a pistol aimer.
-Turn off zoom on the pistol.
-Tinker with plasma projectile velocity.

So heres what I want to know:
-How and where to change projectile accuracy.
-How and where to change aimers.
-How and where to turn off zoom.
-How and where to change projectile velocity.

I downloaded the outputs and offsets, and have read the tutorials, but they don't give specifics about which hex digit does what.

Can't wait to make halo night fun again. That goddamn pistol has been out of control for far too long! And it'd be nice if the rest of the weapons were anywhere near as useful.
Bungie may make great games, but I'll be damned if they know jack or shit about weapon balance!

Ok the whole pistol being the only weapon to use is crap, I will take a plasma rifle at close range over a pistol, it is a powerfull weapon, but the better you get the more you will appriciate it. I play in tournements all the time, it isn't unballanced.

To answer your question, use the HaloWeaponEditor to change those things that and Halo Map tools, Not my choice of ways to do it, but it is the quickest, otherwise look up the offsets and meta's and change them from there.
