Question about Chief's Shields

I've been wondering, Is there any way to disable his shields in campaign maps?? Because I found a glitch in the first level that disables his shield, and i found it to be quite exiting. =P So are there any known ways?

im guessing its when you go to charge the shield for the first time, but you dont stand fully in the square and when it spins around it pushes you out but hell i dont know lol. there has to be a way to disable them maybe a trainer?

Uumm... You could just have yourself play as a marine?? They can use all of da chiefs weapons (I think, not sure about the plasma pistol.)
