modding help simple question

ok i now have a mod chip...as of today.....and was wondering how i play modded halo games on it ........ how do i edit the xbox halo map...and then play it

Anyway, for Halo 1, you can get HMT, HHT, Sparkedit, Xinject and there are some others. HMT and Sparkedit are easier(though not able to do some things) so start with those.
Halo 2 has Ch2r, H2edit and ADI for editing. No mapfile viewers/editors(like Sparkedit) available yet.
