I hope you all like Star Wars, because I do, and I don't want to spoil this opportunity. Anyway, straight to the point:
Why isn't there a Star Wars Mod for Halo out there???
Halo is a great game, but I'm searching for something else, but something the same. It'd probably be good on PC too.

So I made a list of things that need changing for this to work:

Master Chief: The Hero of the game who can do all this great stuff
Marines: Rebel Troopers
Captain Keyes: Mon Mothma
Cortana: The Woman who travels along with the hero (an actual person to help with your fighting, not just a program)
Grunts: Stormtrooper
Elites: Stormtrooper Officers
Jackals: Commandos
Hunters: Royal Guards

The Flood: Mutants made by the Empire

+ Many more things

Pistol: Rebel Blaster Pistol
Sniper Rifle: Disruptor Rifle
Shotgun: Imperial Repeater Rifle
Rocket Launcher: Concussion Rifle

The storyline goes like this:
The Empire has been doing some experiments recently, and the rebels have intervened. So, the Empire board their ship and attacked everyone, and our hero, kills them all, but they still crash land on a desert moon inhabited by the Imperials. They get out of the planet by boarding a Super Star Destroyer, that takes them to the Death Star, and they have to battle in the Death Star and they steal a ship (Shuttle) and land on their home base. Meanwhile, the Experiments continue, and the mutants escape. Using plans stolen for the Death Star, the rebels go to the planet where the experiments are going on to stop them, when they are encountered by the mutants. The mutants (equivalent of the flood) have no mercy, and our hero goes to the rescue, but his female partner is caught up and mutated, out of anger, he kills them all and runs away to Tatooine for a while. He meets Jawa's who give him a salvaged X-Wing, and he flies off to Mos Espa, and it is in a state of ruin.
Stormtroopers everywhere, and where not there were mutants. Added to that, tusken raiders were shooting at everyone. Our hero decapitates them all. Then he runs off, and the story ends... for now.

Please comment and please please people offer to help it's not a command it's a request. I'm sure you'd like a Star Wars mod too.

There is a star wars mod out there. Its probably no where near your liking but there is one.
It was over at Halo-scene, but thats gone now..

meh, but its gone... and that sucks... cuz I like star wars as well

But now there's a chance to start again. (okay, there has always been)

Maps:

Hoth:
Battle in the frozen wastes of Hoth with 3 Hoth maps:

1 is a CTF with stuff like AT-ST's and fixed gun turrets.
Another is an FFA or TeamFFA for just shooting around, racing, and using the vehicles: Tie Bomber, AT-ST, AT-AT, Snowspeeder, X-Wing.
And the last is the actual thing:
For the Imperials they have lots of AT-ATs and AT-STs on the ground deployed. There are also two landing craft unloading/loading stormtrooper and shooting enemies, on the ground. Plus, there are Tie Bombers in a Small Hangar.
For the Rebels they have a big base, X-Wings, Snowspeeders, and Gun Turrets, but that is it. It's pretty fair, because while Imperials have a big assault team, the rebels have a large and manueverable defense.

Tatooine: 4 Maps

Mos Eisely FFA and Team FFA
Boonta Eve Racetrack Arena (Good for racing in)
Jabba's Palace FFA, Team FFA and CTF.
The Desert: With the great pit of Carkoon for FFA and Team FFA.

Endor: 3 Maps:

Forest FFA and Team FFA for just shooting people

Forest Racing, designed specially for racing

The Actual Battle on Endor yay goodie

And so on...

CXE has Star Wars mod in it.

what is CXE and where can i find it?

Halo: NMP 2.0 and CXE are 2 map packs, go to the files forum and looks for it in the NMP forums.
