Okay. I have my Xbox modded. I was playing halo with some cool stuff lke a Warthog gun with 50 rate of fire and rockets, but I wan't something new.
I need help with somethings here. DON'T WORRY THIS IS JUST A QUESTION.
I hear talks about "Battle Rifle" this, "Sub-Machine gun" that, "New shotgun" this. But I thought you couldn't put new gun in Halo. I need help understanding how that works.
Another question. I thought you couldn't rebuild maps, but i saw a Blood Gultch mod with totally new stuff in it! And I also saw a "New Mombosa XBOX!" Well if you can't get new maps, rebuild, or add new weapons, how are all these people doing it?
Please don't flame me, because it has only been two days. So I'd like to know what I'm missing here, or can someone explain all of this stuff to me??
P.S. I have Halo Cache Editor. It's pretty good, but I'd like to know if there is any other program of the same sort/purpose i can use on PC for editing Caches, because I don't quite understand it and I find it's UI a little slow....All things like that on Xbox seem slow to me. So any help on that would be appreciated too.
Hey, I'm really confused. (Simple question)

Hmm, i've never had anything like that run slow, but I had my friend complain about it after i softmodded his xbox. i think it has something to do with the version, mines a 1.4 and its really fast. It might also be the hard drive, some are faster then others. My friend's still has the stock 10gb drive. ( mine has a Hitachi Deskstar 160GB 7200 rpm)It's pretty good, but I'd like to know if there is any other program of the same sort/purpose i can use on PC for editing Caches, because I don't quite understand it and I find it's UI a little slow

No, hahahaha, I didn't mean THAT way, I meant it was slow to work with, like taking off Flammin Death takes about five minutes because in HCE it's is set at 5000! and that's for min. damage, max. damage, and one more.
I still don't understand about Xbox maps though. Why did I see a New Mombossa map for Xbox?? Or is it because it's a conversion, witch to my luck is really hard?

Hmmmm....
But that means it IS possible for new maps on Xbox, right?
Why can't you build the map for PC (Like the dude that made New Mombassa) and get someone to convert it?
I'm not saying I can do this, but I'm saying, if/when I learn, why not try it out with someone??
