HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

before i ask this question i would like to state that i am an extreeeeme noob. ok thats over with.
i am going to put a modchip into my xbox to use extra multiplayer maps and mods that i can download on this site.
first i would like to know what modchip u suggest i use.
two, wat bios should i use so that i can mod halo?
and finally, would i control the modded dashboard and the different drives with a controller or with a usb mouse and keyboard like the xbox-linux mod.

oh yeah and do i have to put halomaptools onto my xbox to use it?

oh yeah and i already no where to get these programs and stuff so dont be all "i cant tell ya where to find them"

Any modchip will work. Any bios that will run unsigned code will work for Halo modding(or any bios that lets you transfer cache files from your PC to Xbox).

As for controlling it...you usually use the controllers(you could buy a xbox specific keyboard...or build an adaptor for a normal usb Keyboard...but you don't have to).
