im really new to halo modding and i have a few questions...... can i use new halo maps and hacks on a cd , without having to save halo to my hard drive?? could i just make a custom multiplayer cd and then use ppf o matic and everything to patch a map.. and when i have the map patched can i put it in the "maps" folder and then burn it on a cdrw. i currently can play halo multiplayer on a cd rw but i want to know if i can use the new maps on the cdrw . and how.... when i take the cache003 and patch it do i have to ftp it to the x partition where it normally was or do i have to name it as a map and either burn it on the multiplayer cd or ftp it to where i have halo on my hdd?? could i get bannec from xbox live for having halo modded?? oh and one more question.. i have a pal xbox that i bought in italy... can i use new maps made for ntsc xboxes?? and if not what files make a pal game different than an ntsc game?? is it just the default.xbe?? could someone please send me the neccesary files to burn on a cdrw to play halo multiplayer in ntsc... so i can use new maps please.... i think i need the following files i think.... : intro.bik, default.xbe, - beavercreek.map

Don't think that will work because for one when you edit a map you use the Cache but if you make the maps prem even how would you slect them off the CD because it would be reading the say bloodgulch.map off the disk when it loaded it game.

what do you mean the NTSC files?

heres the deall.... i have the italian pal version of halo.... and i made a disc to only play halo multiplayer... in this disc i included : default.xbe, intro_es.bik, and some maps.. this way i can play halo multiplayer with that disc.... i want to be able to play with ntsc xboxes on xb connect and i want to be able to use ntsc maps and mods but for that i need an ntsc version of halo.... i want to know if i can use the maps from my pal game and just change the default.xbe and the intro_es.bik... or if i have to change everything(default.xbe, maps and intro.bik)
