I was wondering if you still need to install the software for the X-B.I.T. that comes with it...
I was also wondering that if you install the software that comes with the X-B.I.T., do you still have to do all that Evox and new dashboard stuff?

Xecuter2 is a new BIOS right?
And once that's instaled, I can get a new dashboard, witch in this case is Evox?

You will probably start with Evox after that you can use others. I like Avalaunch myself.

I've got an X-bit. Sweetest chip to install. I remember when all we had was an Enigmah with like 30 wires to solder, but I move on...
Depending on what version your xbox is, you probably will just have to install the X-bit with one screw due to its pressure contacts - great feature!
After your chip is installed (No, you DON'T have to install this chip before putting the bios on it because it will receive power via USB), go get the bios you want and the program needed to place them on the chip via the usb connection from where you got your chip or elsewhere on the net. I believe you can get the program from an X-bit website (I'd start with xbox-scene though first), but finding the bios may take some work and I'm not going there, maybe someone else will. As for the version of bios? Well, I'd look at a spread sheet like on xbox-scene that lists what/what not each bios can do. Pick one that fills your needs (ex. plays originals, backups, multi region play etc...)
You just plug the usb cable into the X-bit (I would use the xbit feature that lets it extend outside your xbox to change bios etc...), use the X-bit software, adjust the switches on the X-bit to tell it which type of bios you're loading as in 512, 1024, etc... and hit begin or start.
At this point I would test a WORKING backup of a game to see if you've installed the chip correctly. Though, you probably would know before then if it's working because it has a bright green LED telling you so. I believe it turns RED when you F'd up!
Now install EVOX...
Now if I can just get these damn Banshees into Hang em High!

I know, if only someone would tell me weather you can or can't do that on XBox.
