how would i go about making skins for xbox.....and do i need a modding chip for that and for using other ppl's mods?

First use Xbox-Scene.com for looking on how or what to do to mod your xbox. Second Read up on some tutorials here and files.halomods.com. Second mod your xbox [see xbox-scene.com again]. Then get HCE [Halo Cache Editor]. Get this from files.halomods.com or GOOGLE never fails. Then use the Search Function here, and at files.halomods.com for further questions.

well, i do have 2 questions that will probably not be in the search (i can never find what im looking for there anyway)

1) does the modding chip or w/e it is that u do to the xbox mess up games or the xbox itself in any way or is there a risk of that happening

2) some1 told me that if u play online with the modding chip active, microsoft will ban u or something.....so could u use skins on xbox with online play

1) Modding chips wouldn't be 40-60+ if they weren't safe, most modding simply makes your xbox more reliable and give you the knowledge to fix it if something goes wrong. You do not need a chip to mod it [search 007 exploit @ xbox-scene.] That is how I modded mine, but I can't play on LIVE because of this, but I have a job for a reason, I'll buy another box whenever I want.

2) M$ is creating a new XBL in the future that will sorta "scan" your compnents and won't let you play on LIVE if you have it modded. As of now, chips solve that. They have an off switch that sorta makes the BIOS go back to normal.

3) Yes you can play with skins online, on XBC or another tunnel service. Simply make sure all boxes on the link have that mod, skin, map.

so it cant be like on PC where u can have 1 skin and another person can have a different skin on the same server
