Misic Mixer to transfer map files?

Let me start off by saying that I would definitely consider myself a noob to modding the xbox. I would like to mod my xbox, but dont want to take the chances of putting in a mod chip. I noticed that Microsoft Music Mixer allowed you to transfer music and picture files to our xbox using a pc program for download.

Basically, you download the program, choose the files that you want to move to the xbox and "prepare" them for transfer. Once ready, a count down timer starts for the amount of time you have,on the xbox, to choose to recieve the files from the pc.

So i was wondering if it was possible to create a program which acts in the same way as the Music Mixer software, except you can transfer any type of file (ex: .map files)? Would we have to use Music Mixer on the xbox?

any ideas?

Yes, it would be possible to create a program that would transfer the .map files, however, this unsigned software would require a modchip to run it on the xbox. The music mixer software will only allow saving to particular directories, and also only allow certain files to transfer. I am afraid it will not work in your case. Good thinking, however.

there is a mod that includes :action replay (you need an older one tho), 007 AUF, and an audio cd... check it out on xbox-scene
