You probably need a new RCA Cable Adapter (yellow, red, white). The video (the yellow connection, for the morons that don't know) probably went bad. Just borrow a friend's RCA adapter and try it out.

Also, if you have messed around with your motherboad at all, you might have left a plug, unplugged. Make sure that your Video output port is plugged to the motherboard.

I doubt that it is Evox, there really isn't anything that Evox could do to mess up only the video.

Test other games too.

That's why you buy non solder, so if you screw up, you just unscrew and screw it in again or tighter

Besides, I haven't heard any complaints about X-B.I.T. and it goes in a very specific place, on a giant screw hole you cannot miss

-clean up area around mod-chip as best as you can

If i read right it only resets with no disc so when there is a disc in it works but the screen is blank. the screen problem is definatley one of the wires running from the a/v plug in the back of the xbox. One of the wires is probally fraed(however you spell it) or it came unplugged. Open your box and just try messing with the wires. When you say it resets with no disc do you mean the xbox turns on and off cause if so your power button or the cables behind it are jammed. Sorry, but I heard the magic xbox gnome is on vacation for a few weeks. Try the gamecube pansy. he's actually in hiding though because he's ashamed of the big A$$ anul cock sucking that the gamecube displays.If that doesn't work call microsoft and if they won't help you cause it was modded. Tell them you didn't do it and it was that fruit ryan seacrest.Maybe they'll arrest him and give you a billion shares in microsft. C ya.

LMAO!! Anyways if its softmodded and your running fonts and could be stuck in a clock loop. But i dont know why it wouldnt show video. You should go check out ldots tools on the XS forums maybe those would fix it if you restored C:?

i found t3h problem... i FILLED up my tiny xbox HDD wen i tried to copy trained halo to the hard disk... with no room to write i guess some internal security thing kept resetting it.

i learned my lesson, as one guy said (sorry mr guy to lazy and sad to check bact at other posts) "dont fuck with it if its not broken"...

i never actually FULLY got the SoftMod to work anyways... couldnt ftp back and forth...( I COULD CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE LED ON THE FRONT PANNEL 1337!!!) and i've basically fuxX0red the thing since it died. i made a FanBoat out of the internal cooling fan and an old telephone battery and it goes crazy fast in my neighbours pool... lol 300 $'s for an old styrofoam ground beef containment thingie and a processor fan lol...

ive moved on to halo PC and am having even more problems with THAT and my ancient 1.2 gig prossessor and my ATI radeon 8500... it looks like ass compared to screenies ive seen... and when i tried to update it to play online, it says "pleeze insert the correct halo cd and restart the game" even IF ITS THE CD I BOUGHT!!!

when i got it there was a nasty scratch on the disc, and when i put it in mah drive, no autorun... (i thot "wierd its microShite and they always autorun... ") and when i go to MyComp and look at the CD drive it's all wierd symbols instead of saying "haloPC" or w\e...

MY THEERIE (however u spell theorie):

The gash on the disc concerns the portion of the cd that has the name of that particular cd... (like say u put in "palmOne desktop" wen u put the cd in t3h drive and look at the title in myComp usually it would say "PalmOneDSsoft" or sumpin so u knew what it was)

the scratch on the disk keeps the computer from reading the disks name and Halo.exe gets confused because it dosent recognise the CD in the drive. it is probably lookin for a disk called "halo" and finds "gvslsgfsf54s5665df365s4645sd35645645fuckshitbitchcuntass" or somthing like that.

im gonna burn a copy of all the files on the halo disc onto a blank CD and use my CD burner app to name the disk what it's supposed to be. THATS WHERE U COME IN FELLOW HALO PC USERS::: someone post the title that they see in MyCompy when they put in the halo disk... PLZ HELP ME FIRST XBOX NOW THIS!!!

I had the same problem when i first installed my Xbit. I justed messed with the DIP switches a little bit, and the box booted back to normal. Yay.
