Programming...VS 2005 or 2008 Beta 2?

So for most of the programs here, you need .NET Framework v.2. Since I have .NET Framework v.3 Beta 2 I could actually use and test some programs that I create on Visual Studio. Now there are two MAIN version, the 2005 one and the 2008 Beta 2 one.
I'm just wondering which one most people here use, and what I should use.

Thanks.
EDIT: Oh yeah, express or one of the trials?

2005 simply because it's not beta. Trial? Just get the
free express editions, or
buy it and get a few extras.

Thank you, I'm just downloading the Visual Basic version, I'll be with you guys about this later.
Oh yeah, thanks for the topic move, I didn't really know there was a place like 'this'.

I use Visual Studio 2008, I haven't noticed any problems except things like XNA don't get installed into the project templates. But I also have C# 2005 installed so I can use XNA and stuff.
