Is there any way to make an elite with its ai to drive a banshee or any other vehicle in multiplayer?

I'm looking for some actvs in single player, but i can't seem to find any elite banshee actv. There's a banshee pilot actv, but it has no dependencies. Any help would be thx

Maybe we could just add an actor dependency to the banshee pilot actv?

elite commander plasam rifle actv
elite commander energy sword actv
elite plasma rifle actv
elite major plasma rifle

just about any of the elites can drive banshess, you dont have to find a actv specifically named for the vehicle though, just need teh actv for the covenant actor. When you choose ome of these, when you place them in the actv section of your target vehicle, this gives the control to the elite and hell fly the banshee for example.

YES IT WORKED, OMG THE BANSHEES ARE OWNING ME! hey guys, does anyone know how to change the string "you were killed by the guardians?" I'd like to change the guardians to something else, but thx alot halo_xtreme, it worked!!!

cool, glad i was able to help somone for once :0 , i think you can edit it in the UI.map file but i havent played around with that enough to know anything about it really.

Man, that "elite commander energy sword" is crazy. He's basically a kamakazi! Hardly uses weapons at all, just tries to ram you with the banshee. Ill try other actvs and see if they can do other things too.

I wonder how you could get an elite to drive a warthog?

you cvan do that, but he wont drive it, the warthog as far as i have found only responds to you as a driver unlike the banshee. I wish i could figure out why a banshee moves but they do not make the others move, its deeply rooted somehwere i just dotn have the knowledge to figure it out.

When u put an elite in the warthog, the wheels move. Like when u get in a hog and look left and right. But thats the only action i see from it.

Maybe you could just duplicate the banshee vehicle and change its model and collision model to a warthog, and change the vehicle id to warthog. Then the elite might be able to drive it... Testing it out.
